My 'Chicken Soup' shoes I have a pair of shoes that are falling apart, I have worn them so much. They are now my gardening shoes, despite the fact they no longer keep the water out and slip on wet grass easily because they are without any tread, but I love them all the same. I love them not because they are comfortable but because we share so much history together. During the lock down we tended to eat comfort food. These are my comfort shoes. My “Chicken soup shoes”.
